“Cryptids, that’s plural!” Chel interrupted verbally and physically. “What else are you hiding under your bed, Keith?!”
“You do not have that clearance, Chel.” Vic said.
“But, Daaad!!” Chel looked at her father pleadingly, “I want to know!!”
“She’s already heard you say more than she has clearance for,” Keith pointed out to Vic.
“Keith, I’m warning you –“ Victor growled.
“Chel has a right to know. I had clearance to tell her-“ Keith sighed.
“Which has since been declined.” Vic stated flatly.
