"You're so beautiful." It only took one look to break Lexx out of his daze.
"Thank you … Lexx." Chel and Lexx turned a corner and were in a small outer hallway that did have the luxury of people not standing everywhere. "I have something to tell you."
Lexx nodded, still smiling.
"I was just thinking about our conversation the roof." It was an awkward moment to discuss. Chel looked away from Lexx. "I meant it."
Lexx frowned slightly. He did not want to think about it.
"I just wanted to let you know where I stand." Chel looked back up at Lexx. "I didn't mean it quite the way it came out. I came here for you, Lexx. Things will work as they are meant to work."
