“You don’t know us very well.”  Keith smiled.  “We like going where we don’t belong.” “Chel doesn’t belong with Lexx, does she?”  Claudia turned to face Keith, going directly to the point in a way that she was sure would spark a little jealousy. “I don’t tell Chel what to do.”  Keith’s smile faded and Claudia saw what she wanted, but not the entire truth. “No.  Of course not.  But if you care about her, you need to get her away from Lexx.”  Claudia went on seriously.

  1. That argument might work on him.

  2. do not be persuaded by the dark side! even if they do have logic on their side….

    1. Don’t forget they have cookies too!!! 😀

      1. i was gonna put the cookie thing, but i like the force better.

  3. Unfortunately that is partially true, trouble is attracted to Lexx like a magnet and since chel is close to Lexx, trouble finds her while trying to find Lexx too.

    1. The perfect solution….

Chel…becomes…BADASS! Then she can handle trouble.:)

Nooo don’t listen to her poisonous words!
That touchy-feely-clingy-‘won’t-leave-you-alone’ type behavior? That’s how she treats Lexx. Would you really wish /that/ upon him? Trouble-magnet or not?

  5. You realize his first answer could be repeated with perfect validity after her second statement?

  6. More, lower-grade fightin’ words.

  7. He will not be so easily fooled by her words.
    We humans are smart. 🙂

  8. BACK AGAIN! I haven’t been here in months! Good to get back into old habits. Erm… that doesn’t involve destroying more computers =P

I dunno. Some things are just more important than personal safety. I would rather risk my life than risk losing something I care about… If I allowed others to die for my own life, I would feel like I didn’t deserve it and work my life around causing as much good as I can. Rather than just professing it. For Chel, it may be the same basic idea. Sure, she might live – but would she actually feel alive without Lexx?

Of course, this will probably not run through his mind. Cursed separation between logic and emotion! TOTALLY inefficient. If -I- ran this show… ach, that thought scares even me.

  9. He cares enough about her to let her go. Claudia doesn’t realise/get that.

  10. BACK PEDAL! BACK PEDAL!!

  11. We need to step back and consider WHY she is attracted to Lexx. It looks to me like the basic glomming onto the hot celebrity video star of the moment. If Lexx does manage to beat the game and ‘retire’ would she still be interested in him? Instead of the current glitzy celebrity parties, would she agree to move onto a secluded island somewhere like Lexx wants?

    P.S.
Lexx should ask Claudia if she has ever seen the movie ‘Fatal Attraction’ .

  12. @reteo: Heh, that’s exactly what I was thinking.

  13. Well, O.B., that would be my first response. Except this was written and not real life, so I doubt it. Were it real life, I would be taking a totally different stance =P
