“LIAR! LIAR!”  Fly came unglued and leaped toward Claudia.  He didn’t get far.  Keith instinctively grabbed the squirrel as tightly as he dared, one hand gripping him by the tail, the other just holding him upright and back.  Fly flailed his arms spasmodically.  “Don’t tell lies about Lexx, Claudia!  You’re supposed to be his friend!! The dice’s reactions spoke volumes to Keith.  He could hear the grass rustling behind him and a chuffing sound of air rushing through Drift’s mouth as though he were gasping.  Fly was shaking all over in a rage now that Keith had his forelegs held down so he couldn’t scratch. “Of course ‘they’ will defend him.”  Claudia rolled her eyes and smirked, which only served to make the dice bristle further.

  1. o_o ingenious.

  2. Yay! Dice to the rescue! I hope Keith is smart enough to talk to other dice too.

  3. Heehee, flailings!

  4. Is my browser acting up again, or has there really not been any text for the last few updates?

    1. Having to move the sites, rebuild the sites, then try to catch up on work and then get a book out to try to pay bills has not left me with any time to update text. And right now, I’m working on next week’s updates.

  5. I don’t think that argument will work either, Keith and others who haven’t been around dice before don’t think of them as anything less than fully sapient, on the same level as humans. As such, Keith won’t think of their loyalty as being anything but the same loyalty humans have towards their friends, as opposed to an animal’s loyalty towards its leader or a subordinate’s loyalty to one they’re required to follow. That’s a different mentality than what the aliens have toward them.

Also, HELLO, Lexx wouldn’t be doing all this if he didn’t really care about Chel a lot! Claudia is a moron, but she’s a very well written moron. 😉

    1. Shadow Fox Kitfox

While the humans consider the dice on the level of sentient….
They also figure these aliens know more about the dice than they do.
So maybe Claudia is telling the truth – after all she knows more about what’s going on than Keith does…

  6. I think the more chilling part here is what fly said about the fact that claudia is supposed to be his friend. With friends like that…it’s sad…she means well but is super selfish….

  7. …With friends like Claudia who needs Trasik.

  8. I think he trusts the dice more than her,
so i’m not worried at all !

  9. that’s right fly. she’s a lying liar telling lying lies.
do not listen to the liar’s lies! they are wrong.

  10. fly! go to stealth and together you can kill more of claudias wardrobe and lies!
    because you both rock!

  11. Yeah, sorry Claudia, but who’s he going to believe, a giant tease, or the one who slept by his side last night?

Sorry, sorry…to good to pass up!

    1. Ohhh, that was sooooo bad!

      1. yeah…but…

        So worth it 🙂

  12. Hah! Technically fly isn’t a baby, but still… Does this count as a “From The Mouths Of Babes” moment? *lol*

  13. *Falls on his butt laughing* Fly’s angry spaz fest in panel 2 is hilarius. Combined with the angry attack squirrel pose in te first panel it is just a beautiful sequence. Claudia could also not have picked a better time to try and paint Lexx like a womanizer.

Keith however is smart enough to notice she’s fibbing, especially with how Fly is acting.

Wonder when Drift wil try to ad his own giant two sense.

Oh, Tiff you sould do a caption contest with that first panel alone. What some of us could come up with………..

  14. Keith begins to have answers to his questions.

  15. i love you fly

  16. No really. I think we should just sit back and let Claudia put her feet in her mouth! Much more entertaining! Kieth is smart enough to see the truth. Marvellous!

  17. What’s REALLY bad is now Lexx is going to know that she’s trying to pull this. She’s gonna get in troooouble!

  18. I hate Claudia. With a passion. She’s just so selfish.
