“I er-ah …” Lexx searched for an intact sentence.
“Anything you need to say to Lexx can be said in front of me.” Riley cheerfully jumped in to save Lexx. The littan clamped his hand on Lexx’s shoulder, trying to jar him out of the shocked state he was obviously in.
“You’re not involved with my daughter too, are you?” Victor leveled Riley with a stern gaze.
