"The dice that have not been caught yet are causing serious problems." Primrose continued. "While you were at that party last night, one of them ate half a dozen sheep in Scotland and severely burned a house." "I … didn't know." Chel blinked. Most of the dice she had seen were harmless to people in general. They didn't seem like they would do such a thing. On the other hand, they were animals and they needed to eat just like any other creature. "Another one destroyed several dams in China that were in its way and killed a number of people in the process." Primrose went on. "There are more reports of these creatures doing similar things." "I never even thought." Chel winced at the thought of them actually killing more than just livestock. The dice were more intelligent than ordinary animals. They could cause a lot of havoc and destruction just because they wanted to. If they were big and powerful enough, they probably wouldn't think twice about it. "What are you going to do about it?"
Initially ... there was going to be a transition in the water of dead people floating in it .. but I figured sheep illustrated the image just as well ... and I wasn't in the mood to draw dead people floating in the water. :D
