“No, not unless you gave us a good reason to,” Victor didn’t enjoy being in this position, but he had his goals and saving human lives was far more important than being too sympathetic to the alien who had endangered those lives. “That reason would be failure to cooperate with our requests.”
“And you really wouldn’t … end this … would you?” Lexx added in a mumble. The fear of being reset because of the careless words of one human was overwhelming.

Yes. Vic would have Lexx locked up without trial for the rest of his forseeable life for not cooperating. You know, things like not explaining technology to them, or getting them dataplates with information they want.
