Nobody was home and Chel’s neighborhood was quiet. Most of her neighbors were likely enjoying vacations away from home. Still, Chel made Fly and Stealth stay in her house. Much to their annoyance. While Keith looked for something to conceal Chalupa in that wouldn’t generate any questions from anyone they might walk by, Chel changed into lighter clothes and put in fresh contacts. Then they ventured out of the house. Chel would have driven, but her mom had taken the car. It was just as quiet and deserted as it looked. There were people around, but most were sitting on their porches or playing in fenced yards. Chel could hear water splashing and little kids screaming playfully all around. But there was not a child in sight. “It must be something to have a mountain lion following you around.” Keith commented. “Stealth was my family’s new kitten.” Chel smiled. “What happened to Roxy?” “Roxy passed away in January.” “I’m sorry …” “Don’t be, she was 18 years old, had arthritis and it was her time.” Chel sighed and shook her head. She wasn’t there when the old white cat had passed away. “I’d hate to imagine how Roxy would have reacted to that thing –“ Chel nodded to the raincoat that Keith was carrying very carefully against his chest. “Her name is Chalupa.” Keith corrected with a slight snap in his voice. “Sorry.” Chel rolled her eyes. “She is not a thing, she’s a very smart toddler.” Keith stared at the rain coat. “She has feelings, so please don’t call her ‘that thing’ or ‘it’.” Update didn't get up on time yesterday.  I'm having some problems with the wireless in my tablet where it goes on and off at random times... right now, it's off.  And it's a big hassle to get it connected manually. :D  Unplugging and replugging various things.. sooo.. the updates are pushed back a day and there will be one on Saturday. - Tiff
