“A walk?”  Chel crossed her arms and sighed.  She didn’t have any other options at the moment and maybe she could learn more about what was going on if she went with them.  The trio of budgieotters bounced off the bed and darted past Chel and Caillem. “Apologies, but we will not be escaping and you may speak freely.”  Caillem dropped to all fours and bounded after the three smaller dice.  She moved exactly like a giant ferret, exactly like Sirius.  Chel wondered for a moment if they might be related.  It wouldn’t surprise her.  “These three have no love of Trasik.”  Caillem jumped down the stairs all at once instead of walking down them. “She only keeps us because we look good.”  The orange and pink otterbudgie chirped over his shoulder.  “Caillem takes care of us.” “None of us –like- Trasik.”  The blue one added.
Please do not make comments about how much you miss text. There isn't any text right now because I do text after all the art and I have a lot of artwork to color and have added a few commissions in there which are taking a lot of time. When I don't have the commissions taking up time, then I can do the text. I'm open for commissions, btw. Have server fees, groceries and other things that need paid within the next two weeks. Purchasing the incentives, btw, removes the need for commissions (when I clear more than it takes to get them made). - Tiff

    Caillem has a very interesting horn design and colors, that makes her very beautiful (not including cute ^^ )
    @09/22 strip (didnt read it) – as I suspected, Caillem is female ^^

    Contrasts, contrasts. Lexx has dice that love him, despite that he has them fight for him. Trasik keeps her dice for ornamental reasons ans many don’t like her.
    I wonder what will happen to the dice that she abuses once Lexx finishes getting Chel back?

    @Stripey: She’ll…continue to abues them…? They aren’t Lexx’s dice, so it shouldn’t matter what Lexx does, unless he has to kill them to get to Chel, or if Trasik takes her anger out on them when her plan falls through. After all, they aren’t her fighting dice, and the nanites will heal quite a bit if she is careful in her cruelty.

    I wonder about the emphasis on “like;” that can imply an absolute reversal, but more often a stronger feeling than the one quoted…like love, or worship, or psycological dependence…fear the tweety birds

    Sorry to nit-pick. But in previous comics the trio had eyes with pupils, and now they have the same monochrome eyes as Caillem. Is it contagious? 🙂

    One other minor nitpick is that Chel’s Hair seems to have magically grown back.

    Take your time on the text, Tiff. =3 (Wow, lots of T’s in there.) I love text, but the art tells the story just as well.
    I’m liking these four more already. ^^ The little ones are just adorable, and now we know they’re not /extremely/ evil. xD I still want to scoop one up and cuddle it.
    Caillem is pretty epic, it seems. =3 She’s reasonable with her priorities, and if she takes care of the dice Trasik mistreats, that hints that some of Trasik’s might not be as loyal as they seem. Do I smell the hints of a rebellion?

    Well the surprises just keep coming it seems. I hope that the colorful trio gets taken in by Riley or Lexx in the end and dont have to put up with the Scumbag Traisk anymore. In fact I sorta hope Traisk gets taught a lesson big time. One that she will never forget! *evil grin*

    I’m still not convinced that Trasik even wanted to take Chel. This whole scenario strikes me as ADC staging a battle like a ProWrestling match. Obviously Trasik agreed (perhaps with blackmail or bribes?) to let ADC drop Chel off at her place, but First (Chel’s actual captor) works directly for the head of ADC, not for Trasik. After all, what could possibly be better for the ADC viewership ratings than a little “knight rescues damsel from evil space pirate” routine? (I bet the battle between Lexx and Trasik will be a pay-per-view exclusive)

    Sure, Trasik is obviously a bad apple, but that also makes her a great distraction from the true villain.

    The budgie-otters will end up in Chel’s ‘Home for Wayward Dice’ on Lexx’s island after all is said and done, and they get married in a spectacular Bollywood song&dance routine. 😀

    The Rippy One: Considering that the original Tweety Bird was evil, I think these little otter birds will be a little better.

    I think they can be trusted. They don’t -like- Trasik, they’re just obligated to be her dice/pets. Whether they like it or not.

    Cyano: You may be right. But it could be that the ADC is only overlooking Trasik’s misconduct instead of instigating it.

    ^_^ Caillem’s facial expressions are hilarious! Especially when they don’t seem to be matching what she’s saying. Unless she’s making that face at the mention of Trasik. 😉
