“What is she going to do with the kids?” Chel carefully crossed over a little grassy walkway, then up the stairs where Caillem and the blue and green otterbudgie were waiting. It had jumped up onto Caillem’s back and was perched there, watching Chel.
“Nothing, my dear. They are likely enjoying a good meal of their own as we speak.” Caillem’s muzzle wrinkled into a smile.
“At least the older girl is.” The blue otterbudgie piped in. “She’s the one Trasik wanted. Trasik bought Karmine for Lexx.”
“Ivie, hush.” Caillem turned and nudged the smaller animal correctively.
Chel glared at the comment. If she could just have five minutes with Trasik, she’d give her a piece of her mind.

This totally annoyed me too. But again.. Lexx is property and all this is about is that Trasik mearly wants to own Lexx because he is a good player. Own him and his genetics. (ohh yes.. and use him to death).

Slightly different topic, but still related, I’m not missing the text so much as the wiki. I have a terrible memory for names and I’d prefer not to have to go through the archives to confirm which character people are talking about (that or just guess and find out later, by which time I’ll have forgotten which name was used anyway). :/
*tries something* It seems I can use tags to an extent, though it’s not ideal. It also doesn’t help when I’m trying to remember who someone’s name is instead of remembering someone by their name.
Anyway, at least Karmine is/was supposed to go to a better owner. Still… between the fact that they’re still being used as property… being ‘broken in’… and the other kids having not-as-lucky fates…

I’m really sorry about the delay in getting the wiki up. I actually DID try to get it up, you can see the results of my attempt. 🙁 I haven’t had a moment to get to digging into why it’s kicking out that error, but I DID try this week even!

Seems to be happening on Trasik’s ship or estate.
Every time something new is revealed about Trasik, I get just a little more creeped out.
By the time this is over, I will no longer want an assault rifle with multiple magazines. I will want a machine gun with multiple belts.

I fear that you may be right… I have the strongest feeling that Trasik is going to set Karmine against Lexx, even if it kills her, it will kill Lexx even more…
