Andrea turned to look toward one of the windows in the living room that looked out into the backyard.  There was a sizable hole in it, but nothing nearby to reveal what had made the hole.  Andrea squirmed. "I,.. don't want to know, Andrea,"  Chel sighed, following Andrea's gaze.  She was still sleepy and listening to an explanation of how the window was broken wouldn't fix it.  "You'll have to explain it to Mom and Dad when they get home." "It was an accident!"  Andrea blurted out.  It had been.  Jonathan and she were play-fighting over the tv remote,… and he had inadvertently thrown it at the window and broken it. "You aren't supposed to have friends over this late,… at,…"  grumbled Chel, suddenly noticing a peculiar smell.  "Andrea,… ANDREA!"  Chel screeched. "Urm,… what?!"  Andrea fanned her mouth, answering her own exclamation. "You are in SO much trouble,…."  Chel scowled.  "I can't believe this!  What have you been drinking!" In the back of her mind, Chel was struggling with the fact that their parents were not going to be happy that while Chel was left in charge, Andrea had managed to get drunk, mess up the living room AND break a window. The living room would be easy to clean up and Andrea would be sober later, but there was no avoiding the question of the broken window.
