I’ve heard them discussing how filthy I am to have such a muddled unnatural bloodline.” Maelinn continued awkwardly, “How could Riley, a pure blooded Littan with a good family standing desire me. That is one of the many things that makes Riley special. He loves me for me, just like you, like just like Riley loves Lexx. He isn’t even his real brother, but he cares so much for him.”
“A few words are not going to erase the years I have spent going over the facts.” Zaile stubbornly argued. “I was abandoned by my parents, Lexx’s parents. Perhaps I was born at an inconvenient time … just like Kane. They kept Lexx when he was born. They kept Kaimar. They had value to them.”
