“I don’t know what to say, Zaile.” Maelinn spoke honestly. “But Lexx is not the one who did anything to you and he doesn’t deserve your hatred. He’s your brother. I saw the vids last night. He didn’t even try to defend himself when you attacked him.”
“Of course not. He would have been disqualified and forced to restart if he had struck me back.” Zaile could barely restrain his annoyance.
“I’m sure that would have done well for your plan.” Maelinn’s patience had worn thin.
