"Chel is only one person and there are a lot of us. I've noticed that when someone keeps a large pet, like... your size or my own, they only have one or two." Energy mumbled, drawing on his memories from the dog he had bonded with. "Stealth, I don't want to continue fighting... if something bad happens, I will run and I will not be caught again." "You do that." Stealth growled shortly. "I have faith in Lexx." "Yes, but in the end, Stealth, we are nothing more than game pieces to them. We do not have any choices we get to make on our own." Energy sighed. "We don't decide on where we sleep, what we eat, where we go ... or following our natural instincts." Stealth lifted her head, jaws parting slightly at the thought of following her current instinct, but she hesitated. This was her choice. She was not as purely beast as she once had been and doubts were creeping annoyingly into her head.
