“Trasik has gone too far.” Lexx scowled. He was going to have to deal with this and ensure it never happened again. Pushing Chel away would not accomplish that goal. It just made her more vulnerable. She could be removed from the game as quickly as she had joined. She just had to sign the proper papers. But it would not remove the danger to her.
“I don’t care if you blame me.” Back in the real world, Lexx spoke more calmly to Victor. “Chel’s been abducted and I’m going to get her back.”
“Not without me you’re not!” Victor announced. He didn’t ask any questions about how Lexx knew this, just made the observation that apparently Lexx had some sort of telepathy. It wasn’t unexpected and in Vic’s mind it was far less important than finding out what was going on with his daughter.
“I will not need your help.” Lexx stated coldly.
