"There's no-one around here. Isn't that the way you want it?" Claudia had Lexx backed up against a tree.
"Weren't you kissing Damian a few days ago?" Lexx cringed, trying to persuade her to leave him alone.
"I can get him anytime, Lexx," Claudia looked at Lexx in a way that made him VERY uncomfortable. There was a distinct predatory gleam in her violet eyes. "I. Want. You." And she took another step closer.
"I'm not interested."
"How can you not be interested?" Claudia questioned innocently, "I can change my appearance to anything you'd like!"
"That's not the point!" Lexx frowned, finding himself now right up against the tree. She had him exactly where she wanted him. "I'm not interested in you!"
"Who are you interested in?"
"Uh,…"
"If it's no-one, then what is the problem?" Claudia stopped, making sure she was standing in such a way that the brilliant sunlight was reflecting off her hair and every curve of her body was lit by a soft glow.
Lexx swallowed hard. He hated situations like this and he found himself in them so many times. With Claudia, it was different. The majority of the females, he could care less what they thought of him, but he had made a mistake with Claudia. He had helped her and in doing so, wound up with a very persistent and overly amorous friend who didn't quite understand why he didn't want her to 'thank' him.
He often felt that things between them probably have gone off in a dramatically different direction if she wasn't so aggressive. For one thing,… she was physically beautiful in Lexx's eyes. Very beautiful,… but, how she looked did not compare to how he saw Chel. Sure, she wasn't quite as pretty as Claudia or any other female Lexx had even a passing attraction to, but that did not matter. She was nice, sweet and she really cared about him.
"I don't love you." Lexx stated flatly, "Now,… stop it. You're making me regret ever helping you."
"You're such a tease, Lexx!" Claudia sniffed.
"I am not!" snapped Lexx, wondering when he had ever shown an interest in Claudia. Of course,… for Claudia, just saying hi was probably a come on.
