“When we get back to Earth, we’re going to have a lot of explain to do.” Victor turned to Keith.
“I hope nothing bad is happening to Chel.” Keith frowned as various horrible scenes passed before his eyes. Riley had been as reassuring as possible to Keith and Victor, but he did not do a good job of hiding his own fear.
“We’ll be standing in a line if something does.” Vic looked through the window in time to see Lexx open up with his first attack on the creature. A blast of green lit up the arena and the animal staggered backward. It almost fell down, but managed to brace itself with a well placed foreleg.
