“Can I check on Lexx?” Chel turned to her father curiously.
“Nah, let the boy sleep.” Vic stated with genuine sympathy for Lexx, “He had a longer day than any of us.”
Chel couldn’t hide her disappointment, idly rubbing a hand over weary eyes. “I thought he might come out and join us.”

*sigh* I need to fix my computer situation. This WAS supposed to be Wednesday's update. I set the wrong comic up, thought it was the right one, checked Friday, saw Friday's update and thought: Oh, everything's fine.. until I went in to upload.
I am having problems seeing things right on the Ativ, (broken glasses don't help, still waiting on contacts), which I uploaded these comics on and relying on them to upload in a logical order is apparently something Easel doesn't always DO. I'm kind of frustrated with it. Everything is great about it, except the uploader, which I despise. I've made an error every single week, something doesn't post or it posts on the wrong day. :( So there are now six updates this week, every day, to fix the error.
I'm going to go and get an HDMI to micro HDMI cable today and see if I can connect the Ativ to my HP Laptop as a 'monitor' with wacom technology. I'm not confident I'm going to sell it for what I need to get a new laptop. The one I'm looking at is the Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga and it runs $1,299 for the base build, so I need at least $1,400 to take care of shipping and taxes and maybe a bit more to extend the warranty. So far, no takers on that, so I'm going to see if I can force this laptop to work for me.

Have you thought about the Lenovo ThinkPad X230T convertible tablet? Their quite a bit more durable than most of the consumer models, and if your criteria isn’t performance/new tech, you might be able to snatch one of the older ones of that same line on ebay for cheap (often still under warranty).
Another option might be to wait a little, because of Windows 8, all major manufacturers are now working on convertable laptops (hopefully some with wacom support). So what’s out there is gonna be a lot more diverse in the upcoming year.
