“I can try to sleep and wait until morning.” Lexx returned to the decision he needed to make now, pushing aside thoughts of anyone trying to harm Chel. She was safe right now. Nobody was going to harm her and he could sense her peaceful presence nearby through the relay.
“You could also just go.” Stealth rose to her feet.
Lexx considered it, then shook his head, “No.” Leaving still ran through his head as an option, but not a strong one. There were too many consequences to running and one of those was just how angry it would make Chel.

Yay! Text is current! Thanks to Patreon, as I've said before, I've managed to NOT let it slip more than week, now I'm going to try not to let it slip at all!
Today's my birthday, so going to find something fun to do. It's also a 'light' work week. I'll probably just spend it penciling comics and scripting. It's ALSO Spring break, which means there are people here.
And now, going to comment on this page, ARGH! I hadn't fully figured out how to use the perspective tools in Manga Studio. I figured that out last week. This update was completed three weeks ago. :( I am so unhappy with that panel now, because the bed and background give the impression that Stealth is much bigger than she actually is. Interesting how lines do that. I could also have laid it out slightly different, but I'll keep that in mind for the future. Drawing people sitting is difficult, which is why I've been forcing myself to do it OVER AND OVER AND OVER again lately.

I just want to say that I really love the change in Lexx’s personality as of late. He’s so incredibly different from the self-defeating guy we met at the start of this comic. Although the circumstances are dire, I’m getting an enormous feeling of pride and happiness to see him break out of that narcissistic and pessimistic bubble he’s been floating in. Way to go, Lexx. Now let’s just hope he doesn’t die before we get to see him really use it.
