Lexx flicked his fingers and stood, suddenly wanting to be free of the stifling enclosed room. That was another thing that was different. Before the architects had modified him, he was more than content to be in enclosed areas. They offered security. The outdoors were nice, but they were so vast and open that he could only enjoy it a short time before he wanted to retreat inside. Now? He was beginning to understand that the places he sought security from were really prisons and with his abilities, no prison could hold him, so why should he be restricted if he wanted out? Wasn’t that part of the freedom he wanted?
He lifted his right hand and a circle of golden light burst into view in front of him, illuminating the room. No room could hold him, but he was still a captive to rooms without walls. He could fix that. He just had to break though the rooms, one at a time, at the gauntlet. On the other side, he would be free to do what he wanted.
Lexx stepped through the golden portal and it exploded in a small shower of twinkling light once he was through it, leaving his room in complete darkness.

Eat your heart out, Aperture!
GLaDOS: What are you DO-ing?! Creating portals without an Aperture Science Portal Gun is against standard testing protocol. And impossible.
Lexx: Chel! CHEL!! Are you there?!
Chell: Yes. Who are you?
Lexx: Who are you?? Sorry – my name is Lexx and I’m looking for another human female called Chel.
GLaDOS: Free association between test subjects is ALso a violation of testing procedure AND general Enrichment Centre operational practice. Please cease this conversation, turn to face directly away from each other, and await further instructions.
Lexx: Let’s try to get into one of those offices. Perhaps an energy discharge will break the glass.
GLaDOS: You were simply BORN to be a rule-breaker, weren’t you? (imitates) Perhaps an energy discharge will break the glass? You think you’re a COOL rebel, just because you’ve broken the accepted laws of physics, and more importantly, our testing procedure? WELL YOU’RE NOT! And now you’ve broken a very expensive two-way lenticulated armour glass window which would cost Aperture Science in the region of –++RRRccHHH+- a lot of money to repair… even if they could – which they can’t. And you don’t even care. I have come to a very important conclusion: you don’t love me any more…
Lexx: CHEL! There you are! I thought I’d lost you! *hug*
Chel: Lexx! I’m so glad to see you! I thought I’d be trapped here with this stupid, creepy robot voice forever! *kiss*
Lexx: Come on, let’s get out of here! *Lexx portal*
Chell: WOW! Yes! We’re gone!
GLaDOS: … *sob* Initiating self-destruct in ten – nine – eight – …

Alternative last line…
GLaDOS: … *sigh* Dispensing companion cube… You’ll always be there for me, won’t you? ♥ Just like science – and technology… only more trustworthy. I’m sure that that Schrödinger wave function keeps on collapsing just to annoy me, and that smartass universal gravitational constant is laughing at me behind my back. Big G… IT WON’T FEEL SO BIG WHEN I ABOLISH IT! …Just like I abolished the charge on the electron… :[

Well it could be worse…Stanley Tweedle could show up and start trying to order Lexx around…
Spikes
Use the force Lexx! … Oh wait. Wrong sci-fi universe. Nothing to see here folks. Move along.
Noname
Is that a new ability of Lexx or ‘just’ his ship’s doorway?
