A moment later, Lexx stepped through the door. It immediately faded out behind him into a dot of light. He waited a moment for his eyes to fully adjust to the dark room. Then he stepped forward, a quick glance cast to Chel's bed. "I told you two to stay!" He whispered, realizing immediately that the human girl was asleep.
"Fly,.. DRIFT!" The irritated Rishan's voice rose. The pair of dice did not respond. Lexx looked at the bed again, wondering what he was going to do. Leaving them there was not an option. He watched Chel, looking for any sign of her waking up. 'This brings back horrible memories. No way am I waking Chel!'
