“Chel, I understand what you mean, but they’re going to make plans with or without you.” Maelinn called out after Chel.
And there’s the issue: Lexx is busy right now and can’t make his own plans, these people are going to take it upon themselves to plan for him, and if Chel doesn’t go then not only will Lexx not have a say then she won’t be there to try to counter things she knows he wouldn’t want. Kinda means she has to go, if only to mitigate the well-meaning damage . . .
