“I was restrained by the dice coding, Lexx.” Alexxis patiently explained. “I could see you and everything that was happening to you, but I was unable to connect to you until recently.”
“When the architects fixed me?” Lexx’s rage softened. He did not have a reason to be angry with Alexxis. None of this had been his doing. He was here now, making himself known.
“Yes, they released me.” The smile that spread over Alexxis’ face said it all. He had been patiently waiting for any opportunity to speak directly to Lexx and comfort him. He was free and wanted nothing more than to fulfill his purpose.
