At what point does the critter grow so many extra parts it can’t move any longer?
Perhaps cauterizing with fire will prevent the growth/healing.
Failing that, just keep wounding it until it becomes an immobile pile of limbs and heads.
Perhaps not heads… You might have a Death Blossom-like effect if you’ve got a bunch of heads with that breath weapon the dice has.
I think he will have to completely incinerate it into nothingness.
