"Chel,…"  Lexx shifted so that he was fully facing Chel.  His back didn't hurt as much and it seemed like finally, the nanos were fixing the more intensely burned areas, finally identifying them as damage.  They had healed burns before from battles, but they had been unable to realize that there was damage when Lexx hadn't been in a fight.  The rest of the sunburn would have to heal naturally.  "I-" "Whatever you're going to say,.. don't,"  Chel leaned forward, placing her hand on the hand Lexx had resting on the couch.  "Not right now."  She held her hand on Lexx's a moment, hoping he would get the point.  This wasn't the time to talk about it. "This is important, Chel.  I have to tell you,"  Lexx looked up at Chel seriously. "…"  Chel blinked at him, not wanting to hear it. She wasn't aware that what was on her mind,… was not what was on Lexx's.  'I NEED to tell her about the relay,… now.'  Lexx glanced away, scowling, wishing there was an easy way to tell Chel. - text missing - Chel: Lexx, don't, not until the game is over, okay?

  1. How’s this?

Chel shifted away, at the same time meeting his eyes. “Lexx,” she said seriously, “Lexx, don’t, not until the game is over, okay?”

    1. Very nice, Ryn, very nice 😀

  2. And THAT’s why you’re supposed to LET others finish talking. I mean, okay, impending awkwardness and all that stuff, but honestly…things would be a lot easier, if she would just listen.
