Meanwhile,  Lexx had spent several hours dwelling on the entire situation in his own way,… which meant settling into a well of depression.  He attempted to medicate himself with nutramixes to dull the feeling, but it only made him sleepy.  Lexx didn't feel like sleeping. Instead, he took Epsy and Energy down to Earth to go after the next dice.  Lexx had apathetically set them loose, tossing the modifiers before Energy had even located their next target.  He just didn't care. Energy, on the other hand, set out at full force hoping to brighten up his master.  Nose to the ground, he trailed the dice easily, his shimmering blue form sliding through the darkness of night. In a nearby clearing, a perfectly normal looking coyote stood waiting for Energy.  He knew exactly which way Energy was coming from and was waiting.  The brown and grey fur on the coyote rose as an electric charge entered the clearing, followed by Energy poking his head beneath a bush.  His pale blue eyes glimmered as he spotted the coyote and a guttural growl emanated from his body. The coyote snarled back, blinking his golden eyes, and then opening a second set just above them.  They gleamed in the moonlight, fixated on Energy.  Then, the coyote shook his tail hard, a rattling sound filling the clearing as barbed spines separated out from the fur on his tail.  The rattling was a warning.  This was not a bluff.  The coyote crouched and crept toward Energy, ears back and fangs bared. Energy turned sideways to circle.  Twice before it had been Energy who was used on this particular dice.  Another poison one, with alternates of light and armor.  It appeared that poison was his roll this time.  Poison of course,… did not affect Energy and both knew it, but the coyote wasn't going to back down. They circled each other, exchanging taunts and more growls.  Then, the coyote lunged at Energy, light erupting from his eyes in a painful burst that knocked Energy off his feet and into the bushes.  The larger dice rolled back to his feet in a liquid motion and shook his head.  It appeared that perhaps he was mistaken,… the coyote was light and it was on equal ground with Energy.
