Chel stared at Trasik, keeping the word she would like to say to herself. She knew she was being baited and lied to, but at least there was some acknowledgement to the truth that Lexx was coming. He wasn’t going to let Trasik get away with this. Maybe Riley would be able to do something that would prevent Lexx from falling into a trap. Chel had hope.
“Until then, why don’t you change out of that robe and put this dress on.” Trasik rose from her chair and leaned over so she wasn’t towering over Chel. “Then you can accompany me to watch my new dice train.”
“No.” Chel replied flatly.
“I thought you’d like to look nice for Lexx. It will be the last time you see him.” Trasik’s voice echoed with saccharine as she delivered the cutting statement.
“Why can’t you just leave him alone? He never did anything to you.” Chel continued her stare, knowing that it was futile to even try to discuss it with Trasik, but deeply wishing that somewhere within her, she would see reason.
“He’s cost me a considerable amount of crids and time, which I intend to take out of him a drop at a time.” Trasik corrected her posture so she could tower over Chel in an intimidating fashion and look down at her. It made Chel feel more and more like a small child, not a feeling that she was used to or wanted to revisit. Worse, it made her feel completely at the tall alien woman’s mercy. She was like a giant spider with her long arms and body, standing up in preparation to pounce.

I wonder if this isn’t a way for Trasik to rig the match and hedge her bets on capturing Lexx.
Because, if I’m right, Trasik wants Chel to know that the new Dice is/are vulnerable to a specific attack so that Chell will try to warn Lexx. And given the current leadership of the ADC, Chel’s interference would forfeit Lexx’ match and his freedom.

Chel is still head over heals for Lexx his friends still have his back…in an unorthadox way steath is still assertive and Trasik is still a major B*tch keep up the good work^_^

It takes a lot to make me really *hate* a fictional character, but Trasik manages it handily. I love the expressions on her staff, makes me suspect that they aren’t too fond of her either.

I wonder if there’s a deeper meaning in what she’s saying besides all the time and money she freely invested in new dice and strategies to try and beat Lexx. 🙁

Oh man, I really HATE Trasik!! Like ‘Sabreur’ it takes quite a bit to make me hate a fictional character, but I really really hate Trasik.

I don’t hate Trasik.
I think she is a pretty awesome addition to the story. She is evil, she is a jerk(for lack of cussing). But I think she does have a deeper meaning. There has to be a reason for hating Lexx so desperately, even if it is because she’s addicted to winning. It is very hard to lose when you are accustomed to winning, and I think part of her brain broke the first time Lexx beat her. Now she doesn’t just want to beat him, she wants to annihilate him completely and without reserve. She wants to break him down so that he can’t even think about escape, winning or love.
I do pity Lexx for having such a relentless opponent, but in the eyes of the gamemakers and watchers, it is totally awesome to see everyone’s favorite player faced with such hardship. This is totally boosting the ADC’s ratings, of that I have no doubt.
