“The reward.” Trasik interrupted with a laugh. “And when he becomes my property, because of you, I can do whatever I desire with him.”
“He’s going to beat you again.” Chel retorted angrily. “He’s beaten your dice before, he’ll do it again.”
“Perhaps,” Trasik didn’t lose her smile. “But I love the thought of having him at my mercy after all these years. Just so you won’t be surprised, he’s not going to make it off this planet alive and if you want to make it back home, you’ll do as you’re asked and get dressed.”
Chel looked to the two servants again, but still saw no reaction to Trasik’s words other than the disgust that had been on their faces from the start. She had to wonder how it was that they could just stand by while Trasik was threatening both she and Lexx.

It’s hard to think of something to say to the complete denial of a person’s existence as anything more than an object.
I don’t want to insult good dogs by calling Trasik a five letter word for Female of Canine Persuasion. Heck, I don’t want to insult good Pond Scum by calling her scum.
I wonder if Trasik is doing this just to mess with Chel, or to bait Chel into doing something drastic.

I would like to say Chel’s too smart to do anything drastic, but… I’m not going to place any bets on her keeping cool. I think Chel needs to look into the many different conspiracy points and judge her position carefully. Judging by her outbursts, I’m guessing she won’t.
Will Chel be smart and hold on until more is revealed? only time will tell…

I’ve been reading some of your comics for a couple years now. very interesting story’s.. the only thing that kinda bugs me a little is how many manipulative characters keep showing up and re-appearing, wanting to dig their claws into lexx, either want a piece of him him or make him miserable or just rip him and chel from each other.. its on going, when will they get a break some these obsessed characters? the poor tortured guy needs a break..
I’m not bashing anything, I like the story, I just feel sorry for lexx and chels situation in it..

Characters like Claudia, Zaile, Saign, Damian, Kane, and Trasik? But where would we be then? Where would the story evolve from? Him catching dice? This is SOOO much more interesting. Besides, this hasn’t caused any (extra) uncertainty in Chel and Lexx’s relationship. If it did, THEN I’d start to be upset.
