Day 24 Part 3

Lexx hit the ground and rolled several times before coming to a stop on his back atop his crumpled wings.  He made an effort to move, but nothing responded like it should have.  It hurt to breathe.  It hurt to even think about moving his legs and nothing but pain met him when he tried to at least roll over and spit out the blood that was rapidly pooling in his mouth. Trasik’s two dice were standing over him, waiting for him to show any indication he was going to resume his battle.  The smaller one pawed at his head a couple of times just to make sure he wasn’t going to do anything, leaving more gashes where its razor sharp claws touched. Damian, Claudia, Riley, Caillem, Stealth and Chel stared in shock at the scene unfolding before them.  Trasik leaned in their direction shouting gleefully, “He’s down!  Lexx is finished!”  Then, she turned to her dice and waved them back.  “That’s enough my pets!”

    “That’s enough my pets. Now give me a minute to figure out how Spock does that thing with his fingers! I’m sure that my own arrogance won’t cost me my last shot at Lexx!”

    Tis’ not a good situation, but Lexx isn’t Trasik’s property yet, so there’s still hope.

    Okay. There’s what, 30 days total? They have six days left.
    Maybe he does become Trasik’s ‘property’, then the ADC is swamped with hate-mail, then the ADC decides Trasik kidnapping Chel is illegal, and he goes free? Any better ways to solve this?
    That is totally far-fetched and scraped off the wall, but that’s what came to mind.

    Hmm. There’s always the readers get so outraged they manage to pierce the Fourth Wall, give Lexx first aid, lynch Trasik and the ADC, and otherwise stomp of the script…

    Or there is the trust that Syke won’t cheat us option. Yeah. I know, so boring not to uncork the rage. :p
