“My mother??” Lexx stepped back just enough to give Chel an incredulous look.
“I wasn’t supposed to tell you!” She gasped, clamping her hands over her mouth in shock. She really had not intended to break her promise and so quickly. The words had just fell out of her mouth.
“My mother?!” Lexx ‘s eyes rolled aside as if contemplating that possibility and if it was really true. It was too much to comprehend. He shook his head and smiled at Chel, who was trying her best to apologize and salvage the moment.
“I’m sorry, Lexx! I wasn’t-“
