Chel glanced at her father who was already on his feet, ready to go with them. “Let’s go.” Riley took Chel by the arm and hurried her ahead of his father and Vic. “The surgeons did what they could for now. He’s stable, but critical.” Sirius and Serenity followed after Riley and Chel, without bothering to ask if they could come.
“We’ve sent out a medical distress beacon with details about Lexx’s condition and our planned course.” Riley began filling Chel in before she could ask any questions. “Someone out there will know how to stop the virus. Someone much more advanced than we are.”

If I recall correctly, there were specific tonal frequencies that could shut the nanites down. Get in touch with one of the developers not affiliated with ADC that may have the ovveride “code”

maybe the code is “klaatu barada nicto” :p (There’s just something interesting about that phrase from The day the earth stood still.

Oh, great. Now I have to resist the urge to make a “Guzpacho Soup!” reference.

interesting choice of words, Riley. “He’s stable, but critical.” isn’t that a bit of an oxymoron?
Just an observation…

Not really stable refers to the motion of the illness and critical refers to the level of illness. Simply put he’s very sick but he isn’t getting worse at the moment.
