“What about us?” Sirius coughed.
“We’ll want all of you in a contained area.” Vic replied pointing at Sirius and Serenity.
“Restrained?” The fur along Sirus’ neck rose nervously.
“As long as you cooperate, no.” Vic shook his head. He wasn’t certain what the actual accommodations would be, but his experiences with these creatures had shown him that holding them like an ordinary animal would not be necessary.
“We don’t like cages.” Sirius stated seriously.
“No cages.” Vic smiled. “I promise.”

I think Vic is making promises he can’t keep. Afterall he is only a field agent.

Consider though that if Vic Gives His Word, then the Dice who are going with him will be On His Side, and willing to use all the abilities they have to assist. Sirius(nee’ Energy) can likely give any digital control system a run for its money

On the flipside of that, Vic has so far shown himself to be a Reasonable Authority Figure. Vic chastised one of him men for shooting Riley, even though Riley had been bluffing at the time. Vic has also been pretty reasonable, if a little frustrated with Kade and the other aliens.
I’m still reasonably sure that Vic means what he says and that he wants to provide protective custody and safe habitats for Lexx and the Dice, respectively.

I’m pretty sure that Vic is senior enough to at least try to keep some promises, and it’s possible that his superiors are Reasonable Authority Figures who would give talking alien creatures a decent habitat to live in.

Not all the dice seem to behaving well with the native people, while others are.
Makes you wonder if those reports might be a little edited when reported. Or maybe when Lexx went back after his last game the ACD might have screwed around with the settings on his more dangerous dice.
They would at least have to have some measure of protection from preventing dice going on a rampage with native people involved. The fall out for the ADC would be horrible if they didn’t and someone got hurt.

Vic, I honestly believed that you’d said the worst with the thing about Lexx. I was definitely wrong.
And Vic is doing this whole thing wrong. I mean, he could address it, but not while Lexx is DYING.

Er, how exactly are they going to force the dice to do anything? It’ll take moments for the dice to kill or at least seriously incapacitate any human creature sent after them.

Would there still be fallout if a few backward humans got hurt? Or would it only drive up ratings? The value of life, esp “human” life, doesn’t seem to be that high with the ADC
