“I know what I want.” Lexx smiled and leaned closer to Chel. “You’re all I want.”
“Why are you so complicated and so simple at the same time?” Chel sighed returning the smile.
“When the game is over…” Lexx’s smile faded suddenly. He turned away from Chel and nervously ran a hand through his hair. “When the game is over, I have nothing. My entire life is this game. I’m afraid I don’t know anything else.” Lexx stared off into the darkness that surrounded them. “I’m going to mess up.”
