There are the (extremely low) odds of the relay implant being rejected by his body for one thing.
And If it is accepted Keith is acting a bit stalkerish. Even if Chel cuts the link between them, he can still bug the Dice or Lexx. That happens at the wrong moment…
Or it could be used to keep tabs on Victor and co. How would Riley know if someone was “borrowing” his eyes and ears during a debrief or when he’s wandering around?
Problem is he can do the same to her, and Vic will believe him (pretty sure she’s zoned out of conversations into the Relay in front of him more than once…)
