Nearby, Lexx had turned away from Zaile and was staring blankly at the door that Chel and her father had gone through, waiting patiently for them to return. Zaile had his hands in his pocket, idly standing by, wishing he was in his own quarters with a nice bottle of Coriaen ale. Keith patted Sirius on the head, then stood up and approached Lexx. “Claudia told me a lot of things, Lexx.” “Claudia has a big mouth.” Lexx muttered, wishing the human boy would disintegrate and stop bothering him. He didn’t even turn to face him. “Yeah, you should probably know she’s trying to persuade everyone she can, that you’re going to do ‘things’ to Chel.” Keith stated casually, looking over the few treats left on the coffee table. Lexx stared hard at the wall, his face going blank at the way that Keith said the word ‘things’. There was no telling what Claudia had said and his imagination was running rampant immediately at what she had made up, pushing Lexx further and further into shock.
