Day 26 Part 2 Page 8

Zaile and Keith stood completely unmoved by Lexx’s tirade as he paced in front of them with heavy footfalls. “I don’t need every one treating me like a child!” Lexx yelled. “I am not a child! I’ve done well on my own!” Zaile and Keith made a face simultaneously as they noticed Chel and Vic stepping around the corner and back into the room. There was no way they had missed the conversation and both Zaile and Keith tried to clue Lexx in that he should stop talking by looking toward Chel and Vic. Lexx was too angry to notice their intentions. ------------------------------------------------------- Thank you guys. :) I appreciate your support and comments. - Tiff

  1. No, Lexx. No, you haven’t. You’d have been eaten a few days after coming to Earth. Or bled out. Or just plain never gotten your hands on Stealth.

    1. The catch is he can to better with friends and support, provided they can convince him that help and friends are a good thing.

Also, they’ve got to convince his friends to work with Lexx instead of working around him.

  2. Chel: (runs up and tackle-glomps Lexx) D’awww! Isn’t he cute – throwing his ickle wickle tantrum! (tousles Lexx’s hair in most annoying way possible)

  3. Oh dear, oh dear. Chel in the background…now I know that body language. That’s the “I’ll handle this” posture. Someone’s gonna get a firm talking to. The question is, will it be out loud, or relay…
Does her father know about the relay yet?

    1. Let’s hope he doesn’t.

      1. Combined with the relay and reverse-engineering nanites… with a POV of engineers and scientists, this could be bad for the galaxy at large… There’s a reason the grays are monitoring all upstarts. Everyone else is used to just buying (or stealing) what they want instead of inventing it themselves. It makes a little sense, since reverse-engineering could take several lifetimes and then by that time you’re reproducing 200-yo tech.
