We just had dinner with Riley, his father, and Maelinn. Chel thought back to the delicious dinner she had enjoyed. It had turned out to be very relaxed, at least for her, Keith and Vic. Lexx had spent the entire meal nibbling at a few small items here and there. He was withdrawn and acted like he thought he was being judged on anything he did. Chel made a mental note to suggest that he not sit next to her father.
Riley tried his best to be a good host, suggesting this or that food to be tried. Keith sampled everything. Vic ate lightly, prompting more recommendations from Riley and eventually Kade had to step in to stop Riley from annoying Vic with his overbearing need to make Vic enjoy the food.

Only three updates this week and I have a convention this weekend!! Which means I better work hard to.. oh wait.. I just uploaded five comics. :D There shouldn't be a problem in getting 3 updates next week as well.
And since we are running Kim to Awanas tonight and leaving in half an hour, don't have a lot of time to finish the text. :(

It must make the cooks feel really guilty when preparing meat to serve for dinner when most of the animals they know can talk.
But wait, wasn’t it mentioned that Littans were primarily vegetarian (while occasionally drinking the blood of live animals)? I guess they are saving those for desert.
