Day 26 Part 4 Pg 10

Swiftpaw meekly walked out of the last examination room, fluttering his wings in an attempt to lessen the smell that was encompassing him.  The motion only spread it further into the air around him.  Keith and Chel clapped their hands over their mouth and noses quickly.  It wasn’t in as strong of a concentration as what had hit the two scientists directly behind Swiftpaw, but it was still a nauseatingly powerful stench that made their eyes water. “I didn’t mean to.” Swiftpaw began apologetically, his voice rising to a plaintive whine. “They were touching me. Then they said something about taking my temperature.”

  1. – “Well, I think you should apologise. ALL of you. Poor Swiftpaw…”

  2. Yeah, they should apologize. Threatening to take his temperature (away) … what would they do with his temperature anyway? 😛

  3. they should see how far they get with Stealth lol!

  4. Stealing his temperature! How could they be so cruel?

  5. And apparently there’s been a translation error in there…

  6. i don’t think swiftpaw is that stupid. he didn’t think they were stealing his temperature, guys. but if you’ve ever taken your pet to a vet, you KNOW how they do that with animals. he probably was very scared to see the thermometer heading towards there.

    1. I think it was more of a reaction to a cold thermometer being inserted into a rather sensitive region of his anatomy with little to no warning.

    1. sorry, comp froze, caused a repeat comment. please ignore this. xD

  8. One thought is going through my mind right now: They should have bought some tomato juice.

  9. Poor Swiftpaw, he needs a hug . . . bath first though . . .

  10. Skunk reflex? is Swiftpaw part skunk? Poor guy tho, it was reflexive instinct to protect his nether regions aka: his butt

    1. foxes have a skunk like musk defence (though it lacks the range of the skunk spray) though for a fox its use is much rarer since foxes are fast and agile
