Keith and Chel were not left out. They were served the same food that Lexx and Vic were having. Chel stared at her salad, a little surprised at the offering that looked like It had just come out of someone’s garden. “I didn’t expect them to get fresh food so fast.”
“The Agency has several farm suppliers and a fishery.” Keith explained between spoonfuls of soup. “They’re run by retired agents.”
“My grandparents?” Chel blinked at the revelation of just how involved her family likely was. They had a small farm and during the summers she had spent there, she had often helped them load fresh produce into unmarked trucks and never thought to ask where they were going.
“Yeah.” Keith confirmed with a smile. “This is a family organization.”
“I never knew.” Chel frowned, wondering what else she had helped with that had to do with ERA.

Vic: *sigh* ‘Cause then he’ll be free to apply for a cohabitation ticket… and my wife will be able to veto any objection I raise… and she will… (mimics sarcastically) “Think of the opportunity this represents, dear…” “…think of our dear little blue, wingéd grandchildren…” *slow facepalm*
Director: Well, I fully understand your objections, Agent. However, nobody ever claimed that the job would be easy…

I had to do a web search to jog my memory that ERA stands for “Extraterrestrial Research and Acquisition”. It could also stand for the “Everyone’s Related Agency”.

I also see that Keith has apparently managed to avoid burning out his brain playing with the relay. Has he tried to contact Chel with it yet?
Based on her expression in the last panel, he may have just forwarded some pictures to her that he had received from ‘Carlos Danger’.
(Those of you not into politics may have to look that one up)

Do you mean to tell me that they are NOT a branch of the government? I would say that explains the incompetence, but no! It’s the other way around! There is no excuse for such incompetence!
