Sirius, Serenity, and Stealth were startled at suddenly being asked what they wanted. This conversation had occurred many times amongst the dice. Lexx and Chel would probably never have been able to guess what the dice wanted or even gave them consideration of even asking. Sure, they would have been treated the same, but being asked made each of them appreciate Keith

Well considering how Stealth feels about Chel and what other Dice have said, they do enjoy a bit of freedom by varying degrees from Dice to Dice. But they do enjoy a caring and loving owner to come home to.
Imagine if your dog, hamster or cat could talk. Personally, I think the gold fish would be like Gilbert gottfried.

And doesn’t Lexx have that island? Surely there’s a way he’d be able to keep them all close by. Frankly, this conversation should include Lexx rather than be between Chel and Riley.

Who says that they can’t take care of their own?
Also, who says Lexx can’t keep them all (except whatever secret government branch Keith and Chel’s parents are working for, I can vividly imagine those guys not wanting an alien, that may settled to live on earth, be in possession of that many… ‘weaponized’ animals…).
Even if he couldn’t handle them all at the same time, he could just revert some of them to their dice status (I really don’t want him to, and I seriously doubt that they would LIKE that, but technically he COULD) to make them less maintenance, and take turns who gets to be ‘pet of the week’ or something.
I believe that Chel would want Stealth to live with her, if nothing else, because somewhere deep down inside this multi-tailed beast, there still is her kitten Mittens, of at least some part of it.
