The focus of the window shifted outward and Lexx watched the scenes unfold. It was awkward; Riane standing beside him as they viewed a much younger Riane playing with her pets. She was happy, laughing, and running freely. She picked up one of the animals and ran to the work table where a clearly older Rishan male was working.
“My father was a repair man. He could fix almost anything.” Riane spoke with a smile.

I’m getting a feeling that Lexx’s story isn’t so rare when compared to other children taken by ADC from this.
