Everyone went silent when Lexx’s door finally opened. He stood there for a moment, a strange look on his face, taking in the situation he was walking into as if it were a minefield.
“Good morning, Lexx!” Chel greeted him enthusiastically, breaking the silence a bit more than she intended. Her cheeks flushed red, but all eyes were fixed on Lexx as everyone greeted him in a welcoming manner.
Lexx returned the welcome with an uncomfortable smile.
