Day 27 5 07

“How do you lose one child?!” Kade exploded, raising his voice far above Riley’s panicked tirade. “How are you going to watch three kids at once if you can’t even keep track of one!!” Riley darted behind Torin, the fear of his normally calm and sedate father in full effect. He pushed Torin forward, trying to change Kade’s focus. “I didn’t lose her, she did!” Within an instant, Riley reverted to being a five year old. Torin stumbled forward in shock, momentary becoming the focus of Kade’s anger. Torin immediately wilted and broke into a wail.

  1. Well…that escalated quickly, alright. On a side note, I’d love to vote for the comic, but apparently the link to TWC is broken. You might want to look into that. 🙂

    1. I’ve been using a google search to find the TWC listing/vote link. http://topwebcomics.com/vote/4155/default.aspx

This seems to happen to TWC every so often for some reason. I don’t know why.

Also: Smooth, Riley. Blame the help that’s working for you. Also, I’m reasonably sure that the child in question walked through a wall when she vanished.

      1. Well, that *is* something small children do. They also have the spell “Summon Dirt” and the racial ability to say exactly the wrong things in polite compant.

Or maybe I’ve been playing too much D&D.

  2. I now fear for the one that kidnaped his princess, henius B*** as she is. This is one protective Papa bear.

    1. I think you’re thinking of Riley’s sister. The one they’re talking about is Lexx’s adopted daughter.

      1. Riley’s sister got kidnapped too, as far as we know currently

  3. Oh, sure, blame Torin. Nice lack of cojones there, Riley.

  4. I’m curious. In a world where limb regeneration technology is given to gladiator slaves, why is Torin one-armed?
In the earlier strips, I thought her arm must be behind her back or something, but here it’s clear it’s not there.

    1. Birth defect.

  5. “It wasn’t me, IT WASN’T ME!!” heheh. Hes still a big kid ^_^

  6. Hehehe. Classic. One of my favorite evasive maneuvers.

    And I’m back. Yay.
