“She snuck down here, somehow.” Riley stepped onto the beach, wringing water from his hair wrap. “Dice have been watching her.”
Epsy is semi-aquatic, she could make a good companion in the water. She might even want to take her ‘kids’ along for a playtime at the beach. I am sure Maenae would like to play with them.

To be fair, most of the dice I’ve seen are pretty capable of looking out for a little girl. Willing and eager, even.
