'PULL!!' Desirea didn't realize she was on shaky ground until it began crumbling beneath her. Small segments of rock began falling, quickly followed by larger segments as the entire section pulled away from the rest of the cliff.
Lexx jerked upward, beating his wings hard. He couldn't literally fly, but there was enough wind to keep him in the air. He hoped it would be long enough to drop his opponent.

Yup, that’s more like it…and ah yeah…Gargoyles cannot fly, only glide. I seem to have forgotten.
