"I want to see your city from the air." A wave of relief washed over Chel as Lexx clarified his intentions. "Come with me?"
"Oh - uhm, are you sure, Lexx?" Chel smiled. She was unsure about flying willingly with Lexx. "Don't take this the wrong way, but we didn't exactly land very well the last time."
"I admit that I can't fly." An unusual grin spread across Lexx's face. He was amused. The smile made Chel feel incredibly relaxed and warm inside. "I jump and glide reliably. I couldn't exactly jump on water." Lexx was feeling better now that he was certain Chel was okay. He had been so worried about her and fretted over how she might react once she returned home. He was happy.
