That moment slipped slowly into an eternity of annoying beeps. Damian’s left eyelid twitched. The noise was too much. Damian snatched up Riley’s coat, running his fingers quickly along the side to find the pocket opening that hid the aggravating device.

“Damian, get out of my coat! Let it ring!” Riley snapped.
