“It is the right thing to do and I couldn’t sleep if I wanted to.” Lexx didn’t react to Stealth’s agitation. He simply stated his decision.
Stealth slowly strode up to Lexx, resting her chin on Lexx’s leg, rubbing it sideways in a feline fashion. She peered up at Lexx, her chin still on his leg and whispered, “You could die.”
“Thank you for the support, Stealth.” Lexx lifted his left hand up to his face, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

I’m not totally sure why Stealth is so reluctant to let everyone else know about this. I know she cares for both Lexx and Chel. I know overall this will make everyone concerned about the situation.
But nothing can really be done about it and suddenly being made responsible for Lexx’s surviving Dice and his adopted daughter upon suddenly hearing about his death doesn’t sound any less traumatic then what he’s about to tell them.

What stops Lexx from having an accident after he wins the gauntlet — even if he wins?

Lexx thinks that if he doesn’t show any interest in having anything to do with the ADC, he won’t be targetted.

But isn’t his existence and life the very proof that the ADC fear, not his intentions?
There’s a lot of things riding on Lexx winning. Like his Younger sister in suspended animation for one.

Though considering the Gauntlet is the last big push they can legally try to stop Lexx and all others for that matter and he’s suppose to be left alone to finish his set. I could imagine the law starts to favor Lexx more afterwards.

That’s easy enough to deal with:

That might work short term. But I have to wonder, if the ADC is that concerned about Lexx escaping and the Gauntlet is the last resort, the law may actually be a real threat in that case.
They may not be able to get away with that with the law after the Guantlet. Then again, with that much money at stake, someone might try something crazy.

You can also feel the concern from Stealth on this page. Lexx’s reaction overall seems to be far more stable now then in the old days.
I think it’s interesting to note how some Dice like Stealth and others can express their emotions in a far more broader range then a typical wild animal. A cat for instance you have to take in and think about what body cues their giving off. While Stealth here you not only have those cues, but her facial expressions can be far more human as well. It allows us at an instant to see it’s not simple affectionate loving of ones owner, but actual concern for this situation.
