Dash, Rook and Swiftpaw were in an animated discussion about who was going to go down to Earth this time when Lexx entered the living area of The Rift. The trio immediately stopped talking and turned to look at Lexx.
"Rook, Swiftpaw. Let's go, we've got dice to get before I meet Chel." Lexx took a few steps into the room, looking disinterested in what they were talking about. "I want to make sure I'm not late."
"Yay!" Swiftpaw yipped excitedly. The winged fox spun in a circle than started jumping up and down around Lexx. "Back to Earth! I like Earth!"
Ten minutes later, Swiftpaw was yipping a different tune.
"I want to go back to the ship!!" Swiftpaw yelped shrilly as he tried his best to fit inside of Rook's pouch. The kangaroo sat where she was, uncertain about what to do. Lexx stood nearby glaring at the two in the dim light of a setting sun.
