Shortly afterward, Lexx and Riley were hunched up behind a large pile of rocks. Laser fire arced in the air around them to the point that neither of them wanted to move.
"Riley, what did you say to Chel?!" It had only been twenty minutes and in that twenty minutes, Chel had managed to figure out how the game worked. She had taken Riley out five times and Lexx twice. Right before they started, Lexx had witnessed Riley mutter something to Chel.
"I insinuated that she couldn't play as well as us because she's female," Riley laughed. "And her chest would get in the way."
"Why would you say something like that??" Lexx winced. No wonder Chel was so mad. "It's definitely not true!"

Maybe Riley just wanted an extra challenge, it’s just like cranking up the AI in a game. Except Riley had no idea Chel would be this scary at it.
